steetly

just got back from the steetly, nipped down in my car when i read reports on this thread and I'm afraid it 's true, they have lopped off about 20 or 30 foot at the beginning of the pier so no body's going to be fishing there again, what a shame, it was my favorite fishing mark and a hell of a winter cod venue.

Why !

Why !

What a shame about the steetly, why did the authorities cut a section out of the pier ? why not solve the route cause and charge the toe rags that are running around setting fire to everything. The security cabin is a waste of time and space because the kids know that they can't be stopped because it is a right of way to the beach. God the world has gone mad! and the only people who have lost out are us anglers who do no damage in the least.
We have lost a brilliant fishing spot and the little sods will just move onto something else and not bat an eyelid. I only hope that the closure does not effect buisness in the local tackle shops.:(
Rant over now i best get back to work !!!!!!!

youv got a right to rant mate ,another good mark down the swanny due to the little darlings having a loverly time ,were next the piers n the beaches theres already protests about rubbish and other things being blamed on the angler when in fact its the dipsticks (being polite)that have ruined a lot of marks with there sort of angling.
