awesome rods if it had a different name on would sell for twice the price i got 1 years ago when they 1st came out when i read the right up off barney wright i remember fishing the pier and a few people took the mick out of it saying cheap crap a few weeks later i had a couple of nice fish biggest 8lb at marsden could,nt believe how good they are the lads who took the mick bought the same rod as a backup they take a 28 mm reelseat but it is really tight better than the 1 that you used to get on the 1st rods .i use mine all the time on the rocks and it gets a good thrashing mind not with so many fish these days more like snags lol, they are slightly heavy but this is a small price to pay like phil says they would be even better if they where a bit longer defo not 24mm though not unless they have changed them, also 1st class spigots on them not like some of the other rods out thier

yea mate much better for casing the rt is just a winching rod mate no real feeling just out and out rough ground tool lol

OK mate, cheers, that clears it up for me and that's why i posted this thread.
still looks canny in the rod rack like and no doubt a good rod for it's purpose.
Thanks for all replies:)

I prefer long rods so, After taking some advice on here I added a reducer to mine, mounting the reel right at the bottom of the rod!

The rod is now almost 14ft
