Make sure you apply to bridlington town hall for a permit, ( its free ) if you aint got one and take lobsters and crab you will get done off the fisheries gadgy.

Any pots fished from the shore in these rough seas will take a battering and will probably get broken or washed away. Also it’s a bit early for the crabs and lobsters to show up, I'm waiting until the first big tide after Easter if the weather is OK.
The fishery north of the Tyne have different byelaws to south of the river; the local agency can give you a list of the byelaws and up to 5 free tags you need to fish pots.
