Did anyone see a bloke today, he was standing on a handrail 4 floors up, coppers and fire engines down below, and a big banner hanging from the scaffold...does anyone know what was wrote on the banner......

Expecting some daft answers for this question, but the story is true...:)

think it had something to do with Loic Remy coming to Newcastle....:D:Dbut to be honest never heard off anything on news;)

he was advertising an explorer elite that's gone back up for sale....

It was opposite the casino next to the Redheugh Bridge, not far from where the riots were and the horse assault took place...:D

Is that the same loic remy who opted for QPR and not the wee club up the road:);)

Remy had no allegiance or obligation to sign for newcastle when he left Marseille . He went to a London club for more money, who wouldn't?

I never understood any of the fuss, he got more money for doing the same job, it was a no brainer for him, and anyone else for that matter

He's coming on Loan , hopefully score a few goals and not get jailed.

Now Gyan was a different situation altogether............

We paid £11.2 million for gyan from Rennes, world record loan fee of £6 million and in a package sold for more than the original price that's what happen to gyan;)

and from the Journal

Asamoah Gyan agrees £140,000-a-week deal with Al Ain - Journal Live

But The Journal understands that Sunderland will not recoup all of the £13.1m they paid to Stade Rennes two years ago, but have insisted in a contract clause that would see them receive a significant percentage of any subsequent transfers.

Reports in Gyan’s homeland of Ghana had even suggested that Al Ain, the league champions of the United Arab Emirates, would be willing to pay £15m for the striker.

But that figure will in fact be closer to £4m, which will go along with the £6m it cost Al Ain to take the player on loan for the whole of last season.

haha he bailed out sharpish and left you lot right in it..

Your very own 5under1and Echo reported:

"The 27-year-old Ghanaian striker stunned then Sunderland manager when he left Sunderland for Al Ain on August 31, 2011 – too late for Bruce to replace him in his squad.

That loan move, which was eventually converted into a permanent move, earned him stinging criticism which extended far beyond Wearside with Gyan dubbed a mercenary who put cash over his career"

THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED TO GYAN..............
