anybody know a closer place to park than the golf course to get to the beacon rocks at newbiggin.i was up there yesterday fancied a dodge on to them but did not fancy the hike from the car park!!!!!Leroy
Turn into the council estate opposite the Sports centre, go straight down and turn left at the end. after about 600yards there is a play area and small car park. Walk onto the golf course and head off in a north easterly direction and that will get you into the middle of the Becons. The golf course is freeholder land so you have access, but watch out for balls and horses.
