Cannylinks...I suppose it had to happen.

Suppose it could be some one who bought them and didnt like them so selling them on ebay, apart from that you could buy some and get an address and collect them in person.......... just to save on postage mind
Nah John theyre an exact copy of mine. slighlty larger loop

Feckin Hell :o
Just read this post and theirs a linch mob after me ;)
Pleased to say its not me :)
Never seen bought or had any of the canny links mentioned.
Just as well I had\'nt bought any or I\'d be hanging from a rope now :D

I live near Durham and have a boat at Hartlepool as it probably says in my profile
Well you were a prime suspect :D :D
No problem mate but you\'ve got to understand how Paul feels,he\'s put alot of time and effort into his idea\'s ;)

Ok Lads, Lambrettajet200 selling on Ebay is me, and with Hindsight I should have asked tony for permission to use the nesa name. Codfather is selling them as his new idea, hand made by him. Ive contacted him and Ebay re the copyright patent.
The thing thats really annoying Is the the links are currently being Field tested by Total Sea Fishing Mag. with regards to an article.and I think the guy has connections with Gemini and Breakaway, tho Im not sure.
As Tony has pointed out, i have NEVER posted a ppic of them on here for that very reason, Bigman asked me last week for a pic, and I refused for the very reason that someone could copy them.Even the pic on Ebay , the clips are piled so the pattern cant be seen.Ive protected the design like a baby.
The feedback and word of mouth has sold most of them.
and I did send some to Arbroath.

suckerpunch. :(

Phew - glad to read that the person advertising the links with the pointer to NESA for a recommendation IS Paul.
It was THAT and the fact that they were called \"cannylinks\" that was really bugging me. I thought that somebody had blatently nicked not only Pauls\' design but the name also.

Codfather - please don\'t take it to heart, m8.

I hope the preceeding posts just go to show how much NESA likes to look after its\' members. If somebody is wronged in some way on the site (or another site, in this case), then we\'ll back them 100% and attempt to put right that wrong.

As you\'ve made it quite clear that you are NOT the \"Codfather\" in question, I\'m sure those who may have suspected your involvement will be eager to apologise.

Paul,
I\'ve got NO PROBLEM with you directing people to NESA to read the reports of those who\'ve used the links.
As they\'ve primarily been field tested and well used by many of the lads on here - where better to get comments on their use?

you can find out if they have sold by going into advanced search on the ebay home page and type in his seller name also if you want to find out were he lives bid on one of his auctions and then request his details direct from ebay

Looks like Ebay have booted him .off Type in Codfather in member search and he is no longer there...Oops burnt fingers spring to mind

:D RESULT :D Hopefully - and (fingers crossed) with minimal damage to Pauls\' \"cannylinks\".

Paul, I\'d get them copyrighted / patented or whatever ASAP .....lol

I recon everone should give me the name and co ordinates of their favourite wreck off the ne coast to make up for my damaged reputation ( never mind what reputation) :D :D :D :D :D :D

Looks like you\'ve got it sussed now anyway Paul.

Have these just been invented and patented ?

They are an excellent idea been using them for about 15 years if theyre the same thing. is it just a little hook with an eye on it you attach your main sinker line to then a short length of lighter line and hook the sinker on when you cast out ? sorry if im asking the obvious first time ive seen these particular \'Cannylinks\'
