Stupid Question

aye, most still waters you can fish for trout all year round.
i\'m not 100% certain, infact never 100% about anything really lol , i think some may close for maybe one month.

I would have stayed away all winter and I\'ve got a yearly membership at one place. When one fella said he sees rainbow trout going for snowflakes a bell should have rang! Get in. Watch for my next post. :P

Ell, on a more serious note.
You can take rainbows from any fishery that remains open after the dates you mention. All Brown trout must be returned to the water after September 30th, it does not matter where you are fishing in England they must be returned alive.
Sharpley\'s good during the winter months.
