Fishing gear for sale at lidl

Got a flyer through the door last week for lidl\'s, selling a load of fishing gear from today (thursday 23rd).
A lot of the stuff is junk, but i thought i\'d take a chance on a couple of pairs of neoprene socks.
Phoned martymusther, said he couldnt get down will i get him 2 pairs as well, \"get there early he said it\'ll be busy\" so i got there 5 mins before they opened, could\'nt believe the Q outside, there must have been 50 people waiting to get in, had to fight my way through the crowd to grab 5 pairs of socks.
There was a bloke with a trolley full to the top with telescopic rods, tackle boxes with hooks..floats ect and anything else he could grab, which i thought realy was\'nt fair hes probably going to sell them at a car booter, or on e-bay when some poor kids gonna turn up after school to buy a cheap rod for the summer macky, and be dossapointed cos of the greed of some people. They should put a limit on what people buy.
Anyway i\'m going for a lie down now all this shopping carry on stresses me out, i\'m sending our lass next time.

if its anything like the last batch of gear they got in it wasn\'t only cheap but cheap and nasty.
some cheap gear is perfectly useable but the gear lidl had in last year was real \"mickey mouse\" stuff (at least the stuff i saw was)

I went down this morning to get some glow sticks, the bloke in the queue behind me had a pile of gear, I warned him the filleting knife set was crap, you couldn\'t cut yesell with it never mind fillet a fish.

He still bought it lol

still got loads of it at lidls in consett, the rods seem a bit better quality than last year, but the one thing that stood out last year and this is the boxes with 5 small pirks (about 4 to 6 oz), muppets, hokkais, curly tail things, snap links etc in decnt plastic box for 6 quid odd

the quality of the pirks is excellent and for 6.99 for the box full hard to beat

did also buy a pair of pvc stocking foot waders for 4.99, just the thing to waer under me holey waders!

as for the would be ebayers... this promotion is nationwide, so I guess, ebay is gonna be chokka block with lidl tackle, and I bet they\'ll be hard pressed to get therre money back, serves the greedy turds right

i have bought loads of electrical (parkside) gear over the years and every time vowed never to go back and buy anymore more because it just keeps breaking down but i keep getting sucked in, last buy was the car buffer which when i came to use it buffed half my car wing then burnt out :exclam:. the only good items they have are the veg

great price for stella mark when ya think how much it costs in the pubs.
i was at a car boot sale sunday(charva heaven lol) and noticed atable full of cheap fishing gear, not much in the way of brand names so i wonder if they had done a big shop at lidl, most of the stuff looked tatty so me being the snob that i am lol didn\'t buy anything. i would rather spend a bit more and have it last longer

£1.40 a pack,but stainless so i wouldn\'t use them anyway.

Went to get sum tip lites £2.99 for 50 gud buy i thought, non left,bloke filled a trolley up and bought the lot.Hope i see him on the pier...!!
