will roker b open fri?

hi lads, just wondering if anyone knows wether roker will b open fri nite as i no they sometimes lock it, im not sure how they work it, cheers, nev.

My guess would be it will be closed, can't see the sea dying down enough to get it opened by then mate.

doubt it, sea was mahoosive today! wind is forcast to turn southerly tomorrow this will flatten it off a bit but not as quickly as a westerly

MY guess will be either saturday or sunday definaly before its open again.

I was down at whitburn today and put some photos up in the Gallery, one of them was titled "looking towards Seaburn". If you look closely you might just make out Roker pier, it was totolly covered by white water at one point today. Doubt if it will be open til next week.

if the lads dont have it open later on today, it will prob not be open till monday morning but hes the resorts office number they well tell you if its open or not 0191 553 2828

Just been down to Soutar and the sea looks good. Still a nice roll on but not too heavy. Roker Pier will still be shut I think.
