Also what about newbiggen prom as tide is coming in any one fished there since sea has been up ?,if so has it been any good.
Any suggestions on where to fish north of tyne for a chance of a cod,as aint had much this winter :( anywhere really just wanna have a chance of a fish

any help appreciated

thx

thx,Bins at Cambois that is the ramp aint it,or is that the part just to the right of ramp that people fish from on the hill into the rough ground

just checked wind charts on gb wind map, winds are getting up to like 32mph south east, might wait till tomorrow night as winds are going to south west/westerly so might be better then, and a little more comfortable

I doubt you could hold bottom and would be dragged left to right constantly. Even the doors was swamped with water at the start of the flood. I'd try the between the two piers if you wanted to fish a beach mark in Sunderland.

The Return

The Return

Just got back from another trip to the pier.
Got there 7ish,sea was massive, very high winds, still fished with mates as i was there and did'nt wanna go home early.
A mate allready on told us the end was empty only a couple of lads on,so we fished there wind breakers on there so it was not bad.
couldnt really hold bottom( Sea Side),Jag got one about 1/2 lb into the mouth of the river.
And that was it,by time we left was a few lads on and i dont think any one had fish but not to sure.
Sea flattened a little about a hour before we came off,as the wind came just about south looked spot on.
But im gonna try cambios rocks tomorrow night so came home early to see me missus (brownie points) :)
And there was fish in the after noon as sea dropped a bit enough to hold bottom, mate had one approx 3lb and lost a lot bigger one, slipped the hook on top of the water.

went to hendon last night, conditions seems ideal, no wind, ok it rained untill just before high, two rods out, using combinations of lug, squid, uncooked prawn and mussel, not a touch, baits came back in near as good as went out, left at 2:30 this morn, others coming away said same thing

Uulucky mate better luck next time you are out.

So rather than romours, what exactly did you see in the bags?

You hear rumours, you don't see them. I can understand your frustration but i'm not rising to that bait.
