Been out this afternoon and the sea is building up nicely you will definately have some surf at Blyth, tried sugar sands today but only small stuff caught.
As you looked along the coast to craster area looked to be getting quite big.
I had a quick look at Blyth beach today while I was picking some bait up, it's definitely worth a go tonight there is a lovely sea running, perfect in my opinion. Having said that, I'm not fishing Blyth as I prefer to fish it at high water, and I'll have missed that by the time I finish at 11pm. I'm off a bit further north to fish a low water beach mark, conditions should be ideal for this as well. If you look at the pics I took of Blyth yesterday (in sea state section) the waves today are quite a bit bigger than yesterday.
There were even a couple of two legged seals walking towards the water with ironing boards under their arms.
Fished Blyth to night, sea was just about spot on.
proper report to follow but lots of undersize fish about,i was getting them every other cast.
Quite a few rods out.
