thinking of going to whitburn at the weekend going to try around the wherry, the ledges and around the rifle ranges, is it a good idea to keep moving around there and trying different spots? any help would be appreciated lads:exclam:

try anywhere you feel comfortable mate and ya will find some areas ya will lose a lot of gear ,but thats where the fish are ,ya got to persavere and keep trying,

be very careful in these winds too on cliff marks

It's usually a good tactic to look for the fish instead of letting them find you but always worth having a few casts in one place as your bait scent will bring any nearby fish in to you but they'll have to find the bait first

cheers mate i was going to have a couple of casts at each spot then try moving around a bit hopefully i will find some fish

ya best bet is take a look on a big low tide you will see all the gulleys and kelp beds or maybe take a few pics and do ya homework when ya get in

To right mate, just had a walk along behind Souter Lighthouse, wind very strong, to strong for fishing the cliff edges.

didnt get out fishing had a look down on saturday but it was blowing a hooligan, will try sometime during the week i think.
