Had a couple of hours out tonight over low water. Started on the lobster potts, four casts and one small rockling. Moved on to the middle of Tynemouth Beach. First chuck and nice codling of 2.5 lbs on lug / rag. Next cast nothing on frozen crab. Last cast filled the hook with enough lug/rag for two casts and chucked out. Ten minutes later another codling exactly the same weight. Both fish returned alive. No bait left headed home at 8-30pm happy to have caught a couple.
