Someone sent me a link to this forum, so I thought I'd sign on and see what the crack's like.
I've just got back into sea fishing after a few years off. I have just gone and bought some decent (ish) second hand gear and wanted your opinion on it.
I got a Greys Jupiter rod coupled with a 7HT (I have been reading the comments on another thread Re. Greys)
It's the first time I've ever used a multiplier (being an ex course angler, you get used to fixed spool reels!) and, touch wood, I've had no serious nests!
But I must say I'm well impressed with the set up, and my casting distance has improved. And I've had a few decent sessions with it.
I usually fish around the Sunderland area.
