boat fishing ?????????????

ive got a week off work at the end of the month and i fancy going out on a boat for the first time, only problem is i haven't got a boat rod, is there any boats from royal quays that have rods for hire, ive got a slosh30 which i think should handle boat fishing. as ive never been on a boat before i haven't got a clue what to do, ive got some old pirks and feathers and boat weights what else is needed. any help would be appreciated thanks

Most charters will hire rod and reel for around £5 for the day.

well you don't need much mate,as long as you have daylights and weights you will get ya bait for free when you go out.it might be worth buying some hokeyes or shads there doing well for cod.good luck mate have good'n.

Good luck, check the tides for the day and make sure you have enough weight to stay on the bottem.
