Me and Phil went down Hartlepool yesterday for a few hours. Arrived at 8.30pm and left at 2am. In that time we had 13 fish between us, 7 flatties and 6 whities. A few of the whities were bigger than I'd seen for a while but most of the flatties were small. I managed one bigger flattie off the right hand side. It was an enjoyable session with plenty of bites to keep us entertained, makes a change from the last few weeks.

Couldn't see any Mick and never seemed to get snagged reeling in so hopefully they are gone.

I caught my first ever codling there last year.

its my favourite pier to fish but the last few times i beenm down there it was pretty slow but im hoping to get on there onmonday as long as it aint blowing a gale sounds like a half decent session you had
