    The only way... The only way... The only way I think this would be resolved is if a large group of "proper" anglers went along and either crowded out these people or better still prevented them from fishing in some manner. It seems these days the only way to get something done is to do it...

    cambois pier yesterday

    Hi Davey, Where exactly is the pier in Cambois? Is it the pier leading upto the wind turbines nearer Blyth? If so, how far along can you get to fish from here ? If you've read my other post regarding fishing at Blyth it sounds like the pier south of the river isn't too clever to fish from !!

    I gave Blyth a miss at the weekend, and on the advice of the nice man at the Newbiggin tackle shop fished the beach just north of Alcan. Caught a nice sea bass and a coalfish, plus something else I couldn't identify (a bit eel like but very smooth and slimy, and olive green like a tench !!)...

    I was wanting to have a go fishing at Blyth - Can I fish the pier with the wind turbines on, or is fishing not allowed from here ? If not, I guess the pier south of the river is the place to go ? The fishing marks only shows the southern pier - is parking safe around here ? Thanks.
