Whats your casting style obvious on pier matches your restricted to an overhead thump. Which by the way is my only style unless you count the balls up casting, a style I have perfected.Not that I want a hernia pole but I thought the XS and GSI would of had a bit more backbone thought they were mixed/rough ground rods>

sid its a great rod but it is a bit soft, they do bend but only so far then they lock up so they do have some strength. as for casting it added a hell of a lot of distance to my cast so for casting i'd give it 10/10. its also got great bite detection so 10/10 for that. the only downside to it is that if its really windy its a bit hard to spot bites as it moves about a fair bit in the wind. for a total rating i'd give it 9/10 and i'd recommend one to anyone.
