Well done to your lass, I caught my first ever mackerel as well last night, was really fun. Good stuff :)

Hi guys :) went on our first mackerel Sesh of the year last night at about 9 only fished till 10 to 10 and got a good catch. Our lad pulled in 13 fish and took home 8 mackerel and 11 fish for me and took home 5 mackerel for the bait freezer. Plenty of coalies and a few pollock, obviously nothing...

Wow everyone is so nice on here :D thankyou! Big fen - every time we go to the glass centre its usual a nice quiet spot to wet the line and have a nice relaxing cast, but it was only this week where they had pretty much done my head in, I wasn't too happy about my fishing time being disturbed...

Thankyou everyone :) hopefully i'll have a good season ahead, going out on the boat either next week or the week after depending on the weather ect, so if i get a good result on there too i'll be a happy bunny

Thanks everyone for the nice comments :) and yeah tony but i wouldn't recommend doing it during the day because you have to pay and display, but from about 6pm onward its fine :)

Hello, this is my first post on here :) me and the boyfriend (antony L) fished the glass center from about 8 till 10.45 last night. Quiet all night for him, not so much as a nibble :( but i managed to pull in 5 whiting, 3 good size, 2 just undersize. Also lost a canny flattie on the lift :( Bait...
