Just had a call off me mate off the boat at seaham, 2mile off nothing over 2.5lb but these fish were spewing loads of sprats, that why nobody is catching, even small whiting spewing them .

It's a cracking little beach, never fail, I think I've only blanked twice in the last 30 yr

Had a trip to bead all last night sea had just fell away ( spot on ) middle skeer, first cast within 2 mins one about 1-1/2 then nowt for an hour then me mate bill got around 2 1/4 called it a night. Bait used rag n lug only crabs on the fresh razor. Never mind did not blank.

Anyone fishing Souter point, try keeping close to the fence because there is a large vertical opening that is getting bigger so be warned.
