had a few cracking bites on the tyne but no fish, we were only there a few hours al .. dave had 1 undersize codling ... i went to cambois (vald birn) that nigh to use some bait up and had a small bass, plenty of bites (probs more small bass) no cod tho .. so its 2 bass so far for the new rod ... going out sat night wi dave .. dunno where yet tho
