Your better off with the fly or spinning.Fish static baits and you will be pestered by Flounders.They are a pest with the above methods sometimes.

You fish the seaward side.
A 30 yard cast will clear the rocks, a good cast will land you on sand.
It fishes well for flatties most of the year and a variety of species in the summer.
There are markings on the ground for most of the 40s marks.
The 44 mark is three quarters of the way along the pier so is a good hike. There is parking at the pier head but like I say it is a good walk.
