    Tynemouth pier is an absolute disgrace Dave. Every tunnel opening from the four posts to the end is full of cans, plastic bottles, plastic bags and waste. there’s a lot of dirty, uneducated sea anglers out there unfortunately.

    Yes, damn those people for thinking they could have been saving lives! If you trespass on private property and advertise the fact with a 5,000,000 candle power head torch, especially when waves are coming over the pier then you're asking for trouble.
