    Good stamp of fish

Great report Adrian, you both certainly found plenty of good sized fish. Oli must be on the Red bull to manage a full day out after a full night bass hunting:giggle: I would be wiped out. I took my friend Ian out for a coupe of hours really just to test his sea legs and he loved it. Into jumbo...

A fun day out, Amble 9 May

Big thank you Adrian, was a pleasure fishing with you on Bellini. Was a great day to be afloat, more fish in that session than I have seen for many years and sets the bar for this summer. The sea was certainly building comparing first photo to last, if I wasn't there I would swear they were...

    Backup outboard

Since buying my boat late last year there has been a seemingly endless list of jobs and additions she needs to ensure comfort and safety before this season starts. I managed to buy a 4 man life raft ( serviced until 2027 ) recently and now only need an outboard just in case my main engine fails...

    still a good sea on

Had a few hours south end of Amble beach Saturday afternoon / evening fishing low tide and a bit of the flood. Really quiet with only a few tiny knocks. Decent lugworm from McDermott's not saving the blank. Hopefully soon be time for a bit beach Bass fishing and maybe getting out on the boat.

    GOOD SESSION S.SHIELDS

Nice one, only decent fish I have caught this winter was to fresh lug with a strip of bluey. Really struggled with frozen squids, mussel etc. Also credit to you for digging them yourself, I tried a couple of weeks ago and they were sooooo deeeeep. Back breaking

    Northumberland

Fished Hauxley last night 1 hour down 1 up. Conditions weren't great, freezing wind in your face and quite a big sea on. Got some good fresh lugworm from McDermots Ashington combined with a bit Bluey and managed my first keeper of the winter. Once the tide turned the waves were sweeping up the...

    Sea Conditions

Can anyone recommend any free weather apps that provide decent sea conditions? Once upon a time I was only bothered about tide but now I have got into boating, conditions and accurate forecasting have become far more critical. Occasionally use Magic Seaweed / Surfline but that is aimed more at...
