I fished North Gare from 2pm till roughly 6pm, bait used, rag worm, razor fish amd squid. Out of 4 lads fishing not one of us got a bite all day !!!!! Very disappointing, but good place to fish. Weather was fantastic so managed to get a tan but no fish. Recommend this spot. :)

yes Mill Dam is just a bit up the river from the Tyne Ferry Crossing I think it is the old customs house. You can park your car there right next to you and I think it is the Theatre Car Park, a pub and bistro called the green room, normally a good spot, Cheers Schoey04: :D

Myself, big Mac and The Fordster fished Mill Damm from 0530 hrs sunday morning (19th April) until 1230 hrs bait used, Ragowrm, Razor Fish, Peeler Crab, Squid, Black Lug and neither of us got a bite all day - I was even fishing two rods aswell - very disappointing day!!!:(
