7ht mag bearings

ive bought a 7ht mag also some bits from blakdog,im changing the bearings and can see the one in the end plate is held in place by a circlip,the one on the spool looks like a pin is holding it in place,do i need a special tool to move the pin so i can get the bearing off,dont want to start pushing pin out with pliers in case i damage anything

Mine come out no problems with a pair of needle-nose pliers - a lot easier than the one in my Torium!!

send a message to blackdog on wsf he has helped me with a few problems on my reels very helpful bloke, i never took the bearings out of my 7ht mag all people told me was dont take the mag side plate off

Are the origional bearings knackered in ya 7ht mag like?
