02 November Blyth beach.

Fished Blyth beach at Stubbleys with SIXFOOTSTEWARD and KeithB tonight plenty of small Coley and Whiting knocking about but we didn't get any Codling at all the two lads next to us caught one Codling an hour or so into the flood about 1 1/2 lb. It was almost a fish a cast so it was good sport and the crack was good too.

Baits used were Lug, Rag, frozen Crab, Mussel, Razorfish and Runnydown but Lug was the best by far.

Highlight of the evening being Jims home made soup ,shame about the fishing although I did my bit by reviving a half dead coalie which was languishing on the beach .

Strange you should mention that lol. I have just poured me second one lol, with a nice lump of cheese. So at least I should be able to dream of Codling.

I put ice in my vodka Jim, never been to Turkey, do they all put lumps of cheese in their drinks?
