Batten down the hatches guys.............the Scots are coming...........well Lynn and I anyway 
7 nights at the none too saloubrious Crimdon Dene Caravan Park, courtesy of the Daily Mail holiday vouchers, 3 charters booked, tackle to buy and sell on the way down, guys from NESA to meet up and fish with, Cod to catch, a shore session to try for a change, nights out to negotiate (without getting too drunk).............it's going to be a busy old week !
Hoping that the last of our 3 sojourns to the North East this year is more productive than the first two. Had a bit of a nightmare at Easter and Summer personally, with 4 total blanks and 1 blank with regard to Cod or Ling, pretty bad out of 6 trips
Lynn of course did much better 
The car is crazy full, you would think we were going for a month! Deep fat fryer in the boot for cod dinners ! Worse still, Lynn bought me a desk top freezer.............I was touched by the thought, little did I know she had an ulterior motive...............yup that is going in the boot too, full of frozen Mackerel and plenty of space to freeze all the fresh cod, (she is confident we will catch) and take them home ! Lastly a fan heater for the caravan...........I get the distinct impression the park will regret that the electricity is included in the price !
Finally let's hope the wea.....................oops sorry Duncan, I remeber............. don't mention the.........................
