Just a quick report from my club match on Tynemouth Pier last Thursday been working like a dog and have not had time to upload the pics but here are a few.





Last fish was 1lb 11oz plaice had some good fish finished first with 9lb 7oz of flattys. My friend John caught a lumpsucker crazy fish only ever had one off Cullercoats yet another rare fish to be taken this season.

Bait used ragworm tipped with mackerel.

Well done mate some canny fish there, that lumpsucker looks a mad fish lol.

Many,Many years ago fishing at Smiths Docks with the wives son we got a lump sucker though at the time both of us didn't have a clue what the hell it was.Took it to I.D. the next day and was told Mac what it was and what it weighed over 9lb. Strange looking and sounding fish.

Nah thats the fire at Byker from shields pier we didn't no what it was at the time so we took some pictures.
