Had a few hours this afternoon/evening. once it got dark some good whiting came from SE corner, i stuck it out on the brass ball managed a decent whiting and mate had a codling 1lb. walked off at 8pm, lads at the blocks had a codling 2lb 7oz, thats the best i heard the day.

fished 45 mark 1 flatty all evening, lads on 44 mark dont think they caught anything on the way off got talking to a lad says his son caught 2 good whiting soon as they were landed they were coughing up sand eels, also this kind gent helped me undo the spigot on my rod, could not budge it on my own, so thanks mate.
