At least you caught something mate so you've done well.

Dunno why you could give the session a 'red thumbs down' , i'd be pleased with catching something (not just a sun tan... )

My mate and I were spinning and float fishing just past the blocks and the end of the pier we only got one each, my mate lost three on the lift, they seem to be getting thin on the ground now or maybe it was just one of those days.

Yeah mate at least you caught 1 it's better than nowt, I am gonna head down for a few hours today with the spinning rod while I can.

I am just grateful for a bit of nice weather for a change, the mackerel still being here with a chance of catching 1 is brilliant this time of year.
