2lb plus Founder

Fished the Glass Centre yesterday from 11.30 till 5.30.used rag,lug,squid,mackerel,frozen blacks,and mussel.ended up with 8 whiteys around the 1 lb mark, but the fish of the day was a flounder which tipped my cheaply scales at 2.25lb, which when I pulled it in felt like a huge cod as I picked up a massive lump of weed,two 6oz sinkers And a load of hooks and swivels. Tide was biggest I've seen as it was flooding the bandstand area an hour before high tide.

Dead right Mick very comfy spot to fish from.I had planned to fish Roker pier....closed then I tried Rathouse....stowed off .So plan C the Glass Centre and as I had forgot my waterproofs I set up my brolly to keep me dry only it's second outing in 3 years. Always loads of fish down there when the whiteys are in plus there is always a chance of a stray codling.

Aye they were a bit of a pain, they didn't stay much longer after you had gone just as we'll cos if one of them hadn't fallen in the river they might have ended up being thrown in...lol
