Was busy with bites for the first hour but couldnt seem to hook anything then got a small flounder about 3 inchs. Then went all quiet for the next hour was just about ready to go as high tide hit and my second from last cast got me another flounder prob about 8 inchs. not a bad day but got caught in the heaviest rain ive ever seen at least i didnt blank tho.

Some rain that, luckily I was in the Golden Lion having me Sunday Dinner. Came down in stair rods for about 20mins. Gutted - I had to stay for another pint.

Well done in sticking it out and not blanking.

Was the same at the glass centre mate, we had an hour of decent fishing just before high tide with coalies and flounders then everything just seemed to die a death.
