Very unusual night tonight, Lost a set of gear then next cast reeled it in, a rat the size of a cat kept trying to nick my bait, it even took the baited rig i had hanging on my rest, when i grabbed it, it had bit through the line and took the hooks, then police all over the place, looking on camels island for someone, reeled in to pack up and had the skinniest codling i have ever seen. got date wrong it was tonight 14th

Hi bud! I fished frenchmans and then the shelf same night! Had 3 good whiting and one codling just size. All were full of cod worm! I'm used to seeing a few worm now and then but these fish are going to our lasses cat! Maybe that's why your cod was skinny? Oh and ratty kept me on my toes as well Haha!

Heard it was some woman who had split with her boyfriend. Was feared she may be suicidal and threatened to top herself. Not sure I should be saying this as inside info bye heyho lol
