not been out in a while waiting for some calm weather to go for the reddies up north, but the sea just keeps getting away.
had a walk down from my house to a beach mark over high water.
the conditions were wild and wet so took refuge in a cave up against the cliff, with me LED lenser to light the place and four cans of brew.... nice..
casted out and holded bottom. noticed small bite, thought tommy cod, but when reeling in it started running and too much slack came off.
second chuck had a small tap, picked it up then 2 big lunges, reeled in and started running, couldn't believe it came off.
thought bass maybe or good cod?
plugged at it and 3rd cast typical cod nod, winded as fast as I could as the swells were taking it. but got it in onto the beach.
sure the second chuck was a better fish.
anyways, packed me suit in me box and walked back up the bank home.
