5/1 south shields peir

with it being my last day off work decided to down the pier with a few friends from the shields club. set up gear on se corner 3 casts nothing then changed bait and then could not stop with the whities all night packed up at 9 but most say to my friends son on the nice cod touching the scales at 2lb 12oz his first cod so a big well done. bait used lug razor and mackeral

i was down with keith phil and his son, phil's youngun had the nice cod

aye the wind was pretty bad early on but as it got to high tide i died right off to be like a mill pond again

i fished roker pier on thursday but only small stuff mate you going to general meeting on the 8th mate

have asked kieth to give my apologies as i cannot make it as i am back at work monday afternoon so it is a week of 3.30 till 23.05 for me
