525 conversion

I am wanting to fit a knobby mag to my 525 slidy and just wondering where you would recommend me to take the reel to get it done as I dont want to do it myself as I will end up loosing a part and not being able to get the reel back together .
any help much appreciated, cheers Adam.

you can buy the whole side plate... just get a plate from a 525 super mag, screw the old one off, and replace it.

Personally i prefer the slidey, i have a supermag extra, and have to say i havnt gotten to grips with it, just too fast, so swapped the plates with my slidy normal 525 mag, to test if it was the magnets or bearings.... found it was bearings lol hellllooooo thick oil!
