My mate is putting a offer on Hardy 24 moored in Hartlepool marina today.

The boats called Grafter, dark blue hull white topsides.
We went down today and ran her up and had a squirt round the marina.
Shes powered by a 150hp Volvo with leg drive.
All seems fine and my mate made a offer subject to out of water inspection.

Starboard side gunnell has metal deckplate looks like fixing for pot hauler ??.

Any lads know this boat.
cheers H

Fished on it many times, cracking little boat well cared for by Tommy. Engine purrs along. sorry to see her go. You wont have a problem with her if you treat her well. Totally reliable little tub.

My mate's new boat is gonna be lifted in the next couple of weeks, held for underwater inspection and if all ok will go straight onto a wagon and moved to our village so I can do engine and drop leg overhaul and install 2nd battery with switchover isolator.

Then early May will be moved and moored in the Isle of Whithorn,he will be chartering fishing trips from this port.
The boat will be skipper chartered not bareboat chartered.

He has done this chartering in the I.O.W in his old boat for some years and knows the waters very well.
Possibly some of the lads on here will have fished out of Whithorn on his old boat so years back with Joe.
Targets will be tope, bass, and most summer spicies found on the west coast of Scotland.
Anyone wants more info just pm me.

Sounds canny for a day trip out, can you pm me when she is up and running, lads from my works club would be interested cheers.

No probs mate will do,it's only 24ft so will be limited to number of anglers and he like plenty of space on deck due to the type of fishing...ie tope lol

Will get back to you when we up and running....thanks.
