A couple of hours after work

Headed down to ssp this afternoon after work looking for some mini beasts with the float only to realise when I got there that I had left my ragworm in the fridge, Doh! Undeterred I decided to fish with the Isomes and Gulps that I always keep in my lure bag. Nothing happened until Graham ( moocher) arrived and when I told him about my balls up with the bait he gave me a good handful of ragworm that he had left over, cheers mate!
Armed with some live bait I managed to get a couple of small pollock, blenny and bullheads but nothing new. Just as I was getting ready to pack up our lass and my daughter turned up, I'm sure they don't believe that I catch any fish lol. Within a minute of them arriving the float went down and up popped a lovely bright green corkwing wrasse, that showed them ha!
A canny little session in the sun and some ragworm left for tomorrow thanks to Graham.

Sounds like a canny few hours mate I am off work tomorrow so thinking of doing a couple of hours spinning and maybe experimenting with some jelly worms .I have never used them before so i think it will be trial and error
Fingers crossed....

Canny session mark, a blend, a corky, and a pollock would of done me nicely! I'll probably be down over hightide tomorrow night, either on the wall with the float or at the blocks spinning for pollock (or there's always a chance I'll end up on the beach as usual:rolleyes:
