...I've said it before and I'll say it again - we must get our own house in order first before anyone or body makes a stand against a licence - this sort of thing does us no favours at all...
Now I see what Mr Great mean't about stealth!!! Think I'm gonna start and vote for the monster raving loony party from now on!They get to double the licence fee the following year - thats what they will get out of it...!
And regarding this instance the lads want shooting...at the very least there should have been the Plod waiting for a polite word at the end of the pier or even having their collars felt...complete waste of resources and money - just lucky that no one died![]()
I'm almost sure these anglers would have seen a weather forecast before heading out?
so therefore would have been ready in anticipation of deteriorating conditions - but the fact still remains that they should not have been on there!
Its a start mate, well done - but I would personally leave out the bit about providing fish!!!
...Oh, and by the way Mr Great... good idea about the e-petition I've just signed it, shame it's electronic - I would have loved to deliver it by hand to Mr Brown!!!
maybe it was someone trying to be helpful that knows nothing about fishing marks :exclam:My question would be, who called the coast guard out? if they had wanted rescuing i'm sure they would have let someone know, we all carry mobile phones these days failing that a tourch to signal for help!!
