myself, mad rob and codfather145
the 3 amigo,s went to roker pier 10 till 6.30 today
2 rods a piece 1 big baits and the other for smaller stuff
went straight for the barrier armed with lug,fresh blacks,squid, makki,muscle and crab sticks lol...
1st cast produced a nice coalie for me which adds to my species list
, then another big one over a pound which fell off just as pulling it over railings
we had bites all day
got a small tommy cod too
then got a nice bite and thought straight away its a nice fish as reeling it in couldnt believe it a personel best whiting weighing 1lb 7oz
between us we must of had 20 fish
i kept 8 and rob kept 5
plus i lost a lobster ,got it to the surface only to see it let go
welcome back codfather 145 from egypt and straight into fish
cheers for the 50% proof blue vodka her in doors will appreciate it
there was lads carrying bags of whiting off the pier
so it will be fish cakes for tea
