Hi, i have got an old Abu 6500C3, ('91 if i have worked out the footnumber correctly), Its got those copper bushes in and i want to fit bearings but seriously 'confused.com' with the sizes and choice available.
Anybody know what size bearings i need:confused:, also can the bearing on the spool be replaced? if so, how?
Thanks

Your best to go to blakdogtackle.com

4x10x4

go for stainles steel and generally the higher ABEC number the faster they are....

Personally i've used the economy ABEC 3's from blakdog and they are fine

to replace simply clean out the new bearings with WD40 or Lighter fluid then add a few drops of your chosen oil and pop them in in place of the old bushes/bearings in the spool....

someone should be soon to correct me if i'm incorrect

Cheers, looking there now :-)
I had measured them at 3x10x6 but closest i could find was 3x10x4 (then again i was using an old school ruler lol)

Email Charlie at this address [email protected] with the serial number on the bottom of your reel he will fix you up.

From memory they are different bearings that replace the bushes than the standard ones.

Hope this helps.
