thinking about buying a abu 6500i tsr has anyone used one?just after a bit feed back before i go out and buy one!

Hi boatangler33.
I got mine about 6 months ago and am over the moon with it. Sits very low on the rod. Very easy to cast with even with the mag brakes to minimum, never had a nest yet (except a couple of small flare ups) Nice to look at too, but people will take the pith because of the colour, retrieve of 5.3 isn't the greatest so only used mine on clean beaches like horden or blyth. Small spool size means I use thinner line and a shock leader. The only negative I have is the mag adjustment slider, it sits on top of the reel when on the rod and is easily knocked and moved accidently, there should be more resistance on the slider or moved to the side plate.
