Read it any way you like, but if I want to know the sort of figures second hand kit commands then eBay does, in fact, offer a very convenient way of finding out; the reply to your opening post was actually pointing you in the right direction. A tart response is not likely to encourage further help either.

All I would suggest is that you don't become too kit oriented. I learned multiplier casting years ago on a Mitchel 602 and by the time I got to grips with it the transition to other multipliers (that actually HAD brakes

) was easy.
Chopping and changing between gear just introduces a different set of problems to overcome each time, so learning one set-up well can pay big dividends later on.
