Kingfisher Charts

Kingfisher Charts

Lillies and Gillies is the place you want, along from N/S ferry landing on the bottom road.
They used to do a book I think it was based on the Kingfisher chart, it had all the 3B,2A and lat/long readings in for all the wrecks/obstructions down the side of the chart.
I am sure they did one for the North and South of the Tyne, I have both books in the house somewhere. I will see if I can fish them out and try and run you some copies off, pretty sure they will be a lot more than 25 quid to buy nowadays.

Dave.......

The old kingfisher charts were the dogs danglies. haven't seen a local one for years and years. Well worth having if you can get one

Mark, I think I bought those charts back in Decca Yacht Navigator/Shipmate RS 4000 days, they were the bees knees in them days. Having said that it was the cutting edge of technology in those days, the same gear got you on the wrecks and ground though !!!!

I've still got a few decca charts and kingfisher charts, but not for this neck of the woods. The kingfishers I've got have all the wrecks as well as all the obstructions on for the trawlermen
