advice on rods

im thinking of getting a new rod , at the moment im using a ron thompson accelerator the 408 version the very stiff one that some say are hard to get now, i find it abit too stiff id like something with a better action , i was thinking of trading it in or swapping it all together altho i dont think i would get anything decent on a straight swop , any advice would be appreciated thanks from , graham .:question:

I WOULDN'T PERSONALLY TRADE A ROD IN THE MONEY OFFERED BY THE SHOP'S WILL BE DISAPOINTING I IMAGINE. IF A SWAP CAN BE FOUND SOUNDS OK,BUT I WOULD HANG ONTO IT AND HAVE AS A SECOND ROD OR SPARE.

ive recently bought a sonik sk3 14' 5-7oz and would highly recommend this rod and whats more its as cheap as chips

if i were you i would keep a hold of the xcellarator for next winter very good if you fish in a big swell and tide somewere and look in the second hand shops or e-bay or even better still on here ,there hs been some belter rods on here fo sale mate ,just my opinion

like he others say keep it for a spare you don,t get much trading,ive just got a carbon metal crest bit pricey but worth also got a axxellerator for the rocks
