Advice on watering hole needed

Do any of you chaps drink in the New Crown Hotel at South Shields? What\'s it like as an anglers\' watering hole?

i live about half a mile away

brih lives 50 yards away
its a good pub

they hold the weigh in for the south shields open there every year so i would say its a good anglers pub

the manageress is a babe

Really good pub-Good food- good range of beers/lagars , it has two large rooms - one that can be booked out for private functions ,the manageress is an absolute babe (married though Lol) they are at present refurbing the six rooms upstairs back to being B&B -as it was about 15 - 20 yrs ago, and most importantly it is 48yds from my house and about 190yds from the Sea front- Pm me if you need the phone number / or numbers for Good Accomadation places near by. Thanks for your help, folks. I\'m just doing a piece for \'Sea Angler\' on local watering holes and I wanted to get some independent comment. You\'ve been a great help. I think a \'Babe\' rating for landladies is an idea whose time has come...
