advice on wear flouunders

ok my son has been on at me to go fishing.we have to be in sunderland on sunday evening so i thought wed try the wear at red lion,hylton for flounders up to high tide.
Have u any advice.Ill be fishing my gear but will a short lob with carp rod and 2 0z weight hold bottom and have chance of a fish for the young un?
lug and razor/squid of frozen peeler i presume?

hi mate i would use frozen peeler with small hooks or frozen blacks tipped with a small piece of macky with light hook lenghts hope this helps and hope ya catch somethink

Like said frozen blacks and macky..... A carp rod and 2/3oz weight with small hooks and long hook length will get flatties for the boy good luck.
