Spent a little time at airshow (by boat) today and will get it into Catch reports ASAP, however as a little comical snippet see the hastily put together video below .....
Background is Steve, Ivan (iva-cod-on, deputising for the holidaying Tony) and myself got to the airshow area for the start at 12.00. Weather by that time was fairly good with little wind and little chop so almost all boats were at anchor awaiting the arrival of the red arrows.
Almost all that is, obviously there were the usual jet skis around but nothing to cause alarm, then out of the distance came a ski boat towing a boarder, cutting between the boats.
Not a problem honestly as there was loads of room but the boarder was trying to inpress more than the aircraft (and at the same time) ..... being pulled along one handed and jumping the wake and smiling at the crowd, (I swear they seen me with camera so came back for more .... not realising the reason I was filming and where it was going to end up lol ... lol it ended in a bit of a splash ....
ps Red Arrows ............ I`ve seen them on numerous occasions , but NEVER as good as this, I`ll you tube some vids if anyone is interested.
