Just purchased the 651 as I'm a lefty , just wondering how many folk using this range and what they make of them, on 1st looks it's smaller than my Abu 6501-c3 just hoping its Got little bit more power in it?, mainly going to be used on clean or mixed ground loaded with 18lb and maybe 60lb shock

I've used my 651csm on Hendon prom, the groyne, the ratty and the beacons last weekend. All with no problems. I'm using 25lb F1 line at the minute. I haven't had a fish on it yet though so I don't know what it's like then.

Clean ground reels mate slightly more power than a 6500 but only slightly.

Used me old Abu 6501 over mixed and seemed fine so thought this would be a step up?? Spoke to local shops and all said was fine for a bit of mixed ground fishing just not heavy rocking but I knew that.
